They were filming scenes of “Bachelor 2″ in his church (my guess is that there probably was a bit more imprudence in letting them use a church for a movie with that name), from the Boston Herald:
The cheesed-off pastor of St. Leonard’s Church in the North End threw the cast and crew of the Dane Cook-Kate Hudson flick out of his parish hall after the Hollywood bunch staged a raaather impudent pizza scene in a nearby eatery!
The Rev. Antonio Nardoianni gave the Tinseltown types an hour to clear off church property after he discovered that their set people had remade a local pizza place into a joint called “Cheesus Crust.”
“I heard about some Christian symbols being used in a very derogatory way and I protested,” the Rev. Nardoianni told the Track. “How ignorant can they be? Is this the only way they can make money?”

Excellent! The only way to get respect is to be solid. The wafering clergy who allow such indecent indescretion ought to be made to read of Paul’s “longsuffering” publicly to remind them of their christian-bearing. This priest did the right thing in throwing the cast and crew from the Church which Christ founded. The lack of dignity is their own punishment for it will someday served them to a bitter end. A firm hand is the order of the day and to be certain we must demand that even if they do not respect us, they honor Christ.
Nice one Pastor !
For too long Christians have been complacent about insults to our saviour. Just because Christians abhore violence, there is no need to ignore, aid or abide mockery of Christ.
If it had been Mohamed insulted there would have been blood in the streets around the Islamic world.
I was on that set, in that scene and it was all in good fun. Have a sense of humor.
