Both have passed away in the past few days. Fr. Stephen Phillips and I attended Saint Meinrad College back in the 80′s (and we Floridians were something of a clan up there), he was two years older than me (sobering thought). Father Joseph Doyle was president of Tampa Jesuit while I taught there and was a true father figure, good friend and great priest. Please remember both in your prayers.
